Jackie believes that you are the expert in your story, as such she takes a collaborative approach to counselling. To be effective, she draws from many therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy, depending on her client’s particular journey. However, her constant is to use behaviour strategies because there comes a point in the therapeutic process where you have to act in order to see lasting change.
Dandelions, just like each couple or individual, is unique. Some call dandelion a weed, others call it a flower. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
